SESSION ROUTE, LIABILITY WAIVER & SESSION TERMS

By accepting this waiver, you ("Client") agree to the following terms when booking and attending a recording session through Session Route ("Platform") at any participating studio ("Studio").
1. EQUIPMENT RESPONSIBILITY
Client agrees to treat all studio equipment, instruments, and facilities with reasonable care. Client shall be financially responsible for any damage to studio equipment caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional acts during the session. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
2. STUDIO RULES & CONDUCT
Client agrees to follow all posted studio rules, including but not limited to: no smoking indoors, food and drinks restricted to designated areas, respecting noise ordinances, and following engineer instructions regarding equipment operation. Disruptive behavior may result in session termination without refund.
3. PUNCTUALITY & SCHEDULING
Session time begins at the scheduled start time regardless of arrival. Late arrivals do not extend the session unless the studio explicitly agrees. Your punctuality record is tracked and visible to studios and engineers. Consistently late clients may face booking restrictions.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 24+ hours before session: full deposit refund. Cancellations within 6–24 hours: 50% refund. Under 6 hours or no-show: no refund. Studio-initiated cancellations always receive a full refund.
5. PAYMENT TERMS
A 50% deposit is collected at booking. The remaining balance is captured at session end. If the balance capture fails, Client has 48 hours to settle before the booking is flagged and future bookings may be restricted. Buy Now Pay Later terms are governed by the BNPL provider.
6. RECORDING OWNERSHIP
All recordings created during the session are the intellectual property of the Client unless otherwise agreed in writing between Client and the Studio or Engineer. Session Route claims no ownership of any musical works.
7. FILE STORAGE & DELIVERY
Session Route stores session recordings uploaded by engineers for Client access. While we take reasonable measures to protect these files, Session Route is not liable for data loss due to technical failures. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Session Route acts as a marketplace connecting Clients with Studios and Engineers. Session Route is not liable for the quality of services rendered, equipment malfunctions, interpersonal disputes, or any injuries sustained on studio premises. Maximum liability is limited to the session booking amount.
9. PRIVACY & DATA
Session Route collects booking data, payment information, and usage analytics to operate the platform. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is never sold to third parties.
By checking the box below, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all terms outlined in this waiver. This acceptance is valid for all future bookings unless the waiver terms are updated, at which point you will be asked to re-accept.
